Blossoming of the vine-plants

The branches must be guided along the trellising to receive the maximum benefit of the sun rays. |

The new branches are fixed to the wires. They are inserted between the wires to make them grow in the same direction as the rows. The foliage is also tied up. This technique keeps the foliage and the shoots straight and fully exposed to the sun, and it allows space for the grapes to grow. From now until August, the vine-grower removes all that grows outside of the trellising. |
